Helping Up Mission transforms the lives of and restores hope to those suffering from addiction and poverty by harnessing the power of faith, science and community.
Nativity Missions has three monthly opportunities to assist at Helping Up Mission Women's & Men's Centers. Volunteer opportunities include serving dinner at the Women's and Men's center once a month as well as serving on the HUM Outreach Bus.
Need to know:
1. Only women can serve at the Helping Up Mission Women's Center
2. Volunteers must dress appropriately for their work; all kitchen volunteers must wear long pants or skirts below the knee to protect the legs from splatter; a shirt with sleeves; closed-in shoes in both heels & toes; and a hairnet or cap. Aprons and gloves will be provided to volunteers.
3. To serve at the Women's Center, volunteers must attend volunteer orientation to learn more about Helping Up Mission and how to properly interact with their clients. A background check is needed to serve at the Women's Center (there is a cost of $19 to complete).

Please note that if would like to sign up for more than one serving shift across shifts (Women's Center, Men's Center, Outreach Bus) you will have to submit a new form response for each date you wish to serve.
Volunteers must be 18+ to serve.
